Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!  Mom is not gluten-free, but she often eats that way because my step dad, Joe, eats gluten-free most of the time.  Additionally, she bakes gluten-free goodies for us when she comes to visit!  I love when she makes her famous thumbprint cookies or beef pot pie – two of my childhood favorites!
